The San Rocco Festival returns to Marina di Grosseto for a month‑long cultural program running from 23 July to 23 August. Celebrating its seventh edition, the event has been designated a multidisciplinary festival of national interest for 2025‑2027. Highlights include Enza Pagliara opening with traditional pizzica, Giuliana Musso’s theatrical‑musical piece on the Theremin, contemporary dance performances, and a closing concert by the Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Grosseto conducted by Lawrence Golan.
On 26 July, the Banda Musicale della Marina Militare performed a free concert in Piazza San Francesco, Matera, as part of the city’s role as Capital of the Mediterranean Culture and Dialogue 2026. Directed by Maestro Capitano di Vascello Antonio Barbagallo, the band presented a repertoire ranging from military marches to rock, highlighting Italy’s naval musical heritage.
Both events underline the vibrant summer cultural calendar in Italy, drawing local audiences to historic venues and showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary arts.
