Italian swimmers Alessandro De Luca and Davide Marchello reach new milestones

Italian athletes Alessandro De Luca and Davide Marchello are making significant strides in their respective swimming disciplines.

Alessandro De Luca, a 14-year-old artistic swimmer from Teramo, is relocating to Rome to train with the Fiamme Oro youth sector of the State Police. After years of splitting time between Teramo and Rome, De Luca recently secured a gold medal in the Mixed Duet at the national summer championships, following two bronze medals in 2025.

Davide Marchello, a competitive swimmer, has progressed through various training stages, moving from Messina to Rome to join Aurelia Nuoto. Following a period of injury recovery, Marchello achieved absolute titles and competed in the European Championships in Paris, where he placed 9th in the 800-meter event.
