Italian swimmers win gold at European Masters Championships

Italian artistic swimmers achieved significant success at the European Aquatics Masters Championships 2026 held in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The MySport team secured a gold medal in the Long Team 25-34 category. The squad, coached by Aurora Sarlo, included Alessia Santini, Silvia Bordo, Ginevra Benedini Occhio, Francesca Marazza, Giorgia De Giovanni, Rebecca Crovetto, Federica Ferro, and Sofia Placido.

Additionally, athletes from NS Emilia SSD earned two gold medals during their debut at the continental competition. Marco Rossi won gold in the Men’s Solo event, while the mixed duo of Michelle Cavallini and Marco Rossi took first place in the Mixed Duo 25-29 category, finishing with a score of 60.8714.
