Italian Swimming Federation to manage Imperia municipal pool

The municipal swimming pool in Imperia is transitioning to management by the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN). This change follows nearly a year of negotiations between the municipality and the federation.

Under the new management model, existing permanent employees will be retained. The initiative aims to increase facility usage, develop competitive swimming, and host national team training sessions and sporting events in the city. Mayor Claudio Scajola stated that the goal is to maximize the value of public investments by ensuring professional management that serves both recreational swimmers and competitive athletes.
