Italian teachers' union flags payroll errors, demands overdue pay

ANIEF president Marcello Pacifico warned teachers and ATA staff to scrutinise their payslips for possible tampering as the 2025‑2027 contract raises salaries by about €70 gross per month. He noted a special arrears payment is scheduled for 11 August and urged workers to report any discrepancies.

FederATA said the economic positions for ATA personnel were published in June but no funds have been released. The union announced it will issue a formal notice and possible legal action against the Ministry of Education and Merit, and is preparing a nationwide mobilisation to secure the owed payments.
