Italian television programming features crime drama, medical news, and political satire

Various Italian television programs and broadcasts are scheduled for mid-October 2026. On Rai 1, the crime drama ‘I casi di Teresa Battaglia’ continues, featuring Elena Sofia Ricci as a profiler navigating criminal investigations in the Friulian mountains while facing a personal battle with Alzheimer’s.

Medical information program ‘Check Up’ on Rai 1, hosted by Luana Ravegnini, focuses on bodily warning signs, including myocardial infarction, hip disorders, glaucoma, and nutritional deficiencies. Religious broadcasts include Sunday Mass on Rai 1 from Sulmona and on Canale 5 from Assisi, alongside the Angelus with Pope Leo XIV.

On La7, Alexander Jakhnagiev’s program ‘Camera con Vista’ offers a satirical look at parliamentary news. The show utilizes artistic editing and rhythmic montages of political figures to critique the theatricality and choreographed nature of modern political communication.
