Italian television ratings show Mediaset dominance on August 22

Italian television ratings for Saturday, August 22, 2026, show Mediaset leading the prime time competition. Canale 5 secured the highest viewership with a 14.7% share, drawing 1,307,000 viewers for the program ‘Ciao Darwin 9’. In contrast, Rai 1’s film ‘Tutta un’altra vita’ reached 1,209,000 viewers with an 11.1% share.

In the access prime time slot, Canale 5’s ‘La Ruota della Fortuna’ dominated with 2,604,000 viewers and a 21.5% share. Meanwhile, Rai 1’s ‘L’Eredità Summer’ continued to face audience difficulties, falling below two million viewers with a 15.3% share.
