Italian theaters announce new performance seasons in Naples and Casalmaggiore

Several Italian municipalities have unveiled their upcoming theatrical seasons, highlighting a diverse range of performances and notable artists.

In Naples, the Politeama di Napoli presented its 2026/27 program. A central feature is a recital by Ranieri, which combines singing and acting with a repertoire including works by Pino Donaggio, Ivano Fossati, and Bruno Lauzi. The season includes various productions such as 'Caravaggio in rock' and works by De Magistris.

In Casalmaggiore, the Teatro Comunale announced an eight-date program running from October to April. The season is designed to offer varied themes, from contemporary comedy to musical performances. Highlights include Ambra Angiolini's directorial debut with 'La misteriosa scomparsa di W' on October 21, Corrado Tedeschi in 'Lezioni semiserie' on November 14, and Cristiana Capotondi in 'L’attrice' on December 11.
