Italian theaters host opera and dance performances

Various theatrical productions combining opera and dance are scheduled in Italy. At the Teatro di Torre Marrana in Ricadi, the Compagnia Create Danza will perform ‘Tentazioni d’opera’ as part of the CAT – Capo Arte Teatro Festival. Directed by Filippo Stabile, the immersive show integrates contemporary dance with the works of Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini, featuring pieces such as La Traviata, Turandot, Madama Butterfly, and Tosca.

In Milan, the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber is hosting a ballet production of Carmen. Featuring the music of Georges Bizet and choreography by Agnese Omodei Salé and Federico Veratti, the performance explores themes of passion and destiny through characters such as Carmen, Don Josè, and Escamillo.
