Theatrical seasons launch in Marino and Colle di Val d’Elsa

New theatrical seasons are commencing in various Italian regions. In Marino, the Teatro Vittoria Colonna will present “Trilussa e il Vino” on October 25, 2026. Written and directed by Michele La Ginestra and starring Sergio Zecca, the comedy pays homage to Roman culture and the local tradition of the Sagra dell’Uva, drawing inspiration from figures such as Belli and Trilussa.

In Colle di Val d’Elsa, the Teatro del Popolo begins its 2026-2027 season on October 20 with Stefano Massini’s “Lo zar,” a production focused on the rise of Vladimir Putin. The season is part of a shared programming initiative between the municipalities of Colle di Val d’Elsa, Poggibonsi, and Certaldo. Upcoming November performances include Ambra Angiolini in “La misteriosa scomparsa di W.” and Paolo Rossi in “Onora i padri e paga la psicologa.”
