Italian theme parks celebrate Roller Coaster Day

In celebration of Roller Coaster Day on August 16, major Italian theme parks are highlighting their record-breaking and unique roller coaster attractions.

MagicLand features two notable experiences: Shock – The Steam Machine, described as one of the highest and fastest X-Car Coasters in Europe, which utilizes a magnetic launch to reach 100 km/h, and Cagliostro, which is noted as Italy’s only indoor spinning coaster. Shock is characterized by its unique non-inverted loop, while Cagliostro offers an unpredictable experience through darkness and rotating cars.

Gardaland has announced a milestone for its Dragon Rush attraction, a Family Spinning Wild Mouse coaster. Since 2016, the attraction has carried five million passengers, covering a total distance of over 266,000 kilometers, which is equivalent to nearly seven trips around the Earth.
