Italian towns Ballabio and Ferrara unveil new youth sports facilities

The municipality of Ballabio in Lombardy has added a new pump track to Parco Due Mani. Funded with a €40,000 contribution from the Consorzio BIM of Gravedona ed Uniti, the modular track is intended for bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerskates and is aimed at children and teenagers. Mayor Giovanni Bruno Bussola and Deputy Mayor Paola Crotta highlighted the project as a concrete investment for local youth, and thanked the architects and construction firms involved.

In Ferrara, the public swimming pool Piscina Beethoven opened a Spray Park for children and families. The 160‑square‑metre water‑play area, built by Nuova Sportiva for about €150,000, expands the summer offering of the pool. The inauguration was attended by sport assessor Francesco Traspadano Carità and Nuova Sportiva executives. The park is free for children up to eight years old during its opening weekend and is part of a broader effort to enhance the city's recreational facilities.
