Italian towns complete historic garden restorations

Teramo completed the final phase of work on the Castello Della Monica complex, restoring the garden and surrounding external areas. The renovation, financed through the national PNRR recovery plan, aims to enhance the visual appeal and public accessibility of the historic site.

In Imola, the southern section of the Giardini di San Domenico was reopened after a four‑month, €450,000 refurbishment that upgraded lighting, pedestrian pathways, benches and urban greenery. The project, funded by the municipality, forms the first stage of a total €1.3 million redevelopment, with a second phase slated for the northern sector.

Both initiatives reflect local authorities’ efforts to revitalize public heritage spaces, improve urban environments and attract visitors.
