Italy rolls out dozens of summer cultural events and heritage projects for July‑August 2026

A series of summer programs will take place across Italy in late July and early August 2026. In Pieranica, the annual street fair will include a charitable fund that allocates a portion of proceeds to humanitarian causes. Livorno’s historic Fortezza Nuova will host the Effetto Venezia festival with concerts, choirs and a youth music competition. Savigliano’s cultural office offers two guided tours celebrating the town’s 190‑year theatre history and a photographic heritage exhibition. Torino’s Imbarchino park will screen Lucio Fulci’s 1972 film “Non si sevizia un paperino” as part of the Nocturno summer cinema series. Vicenza begins an €180 000 restoration of the historic Odeon cinema’s roof to preserve the former church building it occupies. Pieve di Zignago will hold its ninth vintage‑motor rally, featuring classic cars, motorcycles and APEs. The Valchiusella region’s eighth CinemAmbiente edition will combine outdoor screenings with biodiversity‑focused talks and nature walks. Livorno’s Museum of the City will host two archaeology nights under the “Archeologia che unisce un mondo diviso” theme. Messina will present the program for the centennial of the Vara votive machine, marking its 1926 revival after the 1908 earthquake. Finally, the Reggia di Venaria will open its historic rooms and gardens for “Sere d’Estate” evenings with concerts, dance performances and thousands of candles.
