Italian towns launch inclusive summer camps for children in 2026

Crema and Tirano in northern Italy are opening new summer programmes aimed at children and teenagers for 2026. In Crema, the Over Limits organisation will run the "Camp estivi" from 15 June to early September, offering activities for ages 6‑15 with options for participants over 15 to join a Factory Lab or assist as animators. The camp includes sports, swimming, creative workshops and day trips, with a focus on inclusion of children with and without disabilities.

In Tirano, the municipality and the Cooperativa Forme will host "Missione 2026" for children aged 3‑11, operating at two sites – the Scuola dell'Infanzia Quadrifoglio for ages 3‑6 and the Scuola Primaria G. B. Marinoni for ages 6‑11. The programme runs weekdays from 08:30 to 16:30, includes meals, and emphasizes safe, inclusive recreational and educational activities. Registrations opened in late May and are managed online.

Both camps aim to provide safe, inclusive environments that combine sport, creativity and socialisation to support the growth and integration of young participants.
