Italian towns launch summer cultural programmes in Sangineto and Castel del Monte

The municipality of Sangineto held a well‑attended tribute to former Ferrari driver Ignazio Giunti, screening a documentary about his life and announcing the summer programme "Sangineto in… Armonie". The programme will run throughout August and combine cultural, musical, literary and nature events for residents and visitors.

In Castel del Monte, the historic castle hosted the presentation of Stefano Petrocchi’s new book "Romanzo privato" as part of the "Armonie a Castel del Monte – Storie di Stelle" series. The evening featured readings from the diaries of Maria Bellonci, live music, a guided Perseid meteor shower observation, and a tasting of local wines and burrata, highlighting the region’s cultural and gastronomic heritage.
