Italian towns launch youth art and sports initiatives

In the municipality of Brezzo di Bedero, a two‑month bocce laboratory for junior players was run in June and July. Organized by Chiara Mazza with local volunteers, the program culminated on 7 July with a paired competition and trophies presented by Mayor Daniele Boldrini.

In Finale Ligure, the municipal sports field “F. Borel” received a new mural created through the LINK project. About 15 teenagers aged 12‑18 worked under the guidance of writer Mister Pollo to design and paint the artwork, an effort supported by the town’s Social Services department and the association A Cielo Aperto. Both initiatives aim to involve young people in cultural and recreational activities while enhancing public spaces.
