Italian towns manage logistics for patronal festivals

Local administrations in Corato and Manfredonia are managing logistics and community engagement for their respective patronal festivals.

In Corato, the municipal administration and the Municipal Guarantor for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities have issued a public thank you to traveling amusement park operators. The operators are recognized for their solidarity in welcoming children and young people from local residential educational communities and disability associations to the festivities, promoting social inclusion.

In Manfredonia, Mayor Domenico La Marca has issued an ordinance to suspend the weekly market in the Scaloria area scheduled for September 1, 2026. The suspension is necessary to accommodate the installation and dismantling of luna park attractions for the festival in honor of Maria Santissima di Siponto. The municipality intends to reschedule the market after consulting with commercial representatives.
