Italian towns of Padula and Castellaro host summer music and food festivals

In Padula, the Certosa Village complex hosted a night of music and karaoke on July 30, featuring a tribute concert of Ornella Vanoni’s songs performed by local musicians and a street‑food stall offering Padua specialties. The event followed a successful Fiorella Mannoia concert and precedes a comedy show by Vincenzo Salemme scheduled for August 3.

In the nearby town of Castellaro di Serra San Quiricola, the 61st edition of the traditional "Sagra del Coniglio in Porchetta" ran from July 31 to August 2. The three‑day festival highlighted the local rabbit‑in‑porchetta dish, live music, family entertainment and a petition to secure funding for the restoration of the earthquake‑damaged San Lorenzo Martire church.
