Italian towns of Pallagorio, Civita and Triora launch cultural partnership and facility management initiatives

The Pro loco ‘Ofelia Giudicissi’ of Pallagorio (province of Crotone) and the Pro loco of Civita (province of Cosenza) signed a twinning agreement on 12 July 2026. The ceremony, held in Civita’s municipal council chamber, was attended by Pallagorio mayor Umberto Lorecchio, Civita councilor Antonluca De Salvo and the presidents of both Pro loco associations. The agreement aims to preserve and promote the Arbëreshë cultural heritage shared by the two communities, to foster tourism, and to create joint cultural and social projects for future generations.

Separately, the municipality of Triora in Liguria published a call for a third‑sector entity to manage four public assets—a camper area, a civic hostel, a coworking‑cultural centre and the civic museum—for an initial six‑month term, renewable up to twelve months. The selected manager must keep the facilities open for at least eight months a year, run events such as the September "Plain Air Bandiere Arancioni" festival, and retain a portion of ticket revenues. The contract also includes responsibilities for coordinating local cultural programming and supporting social initiatives.
