Local safety groups in Pomigliano d’Arco warned residents of a rise in apartment break‑ins, urging heightened vigilance especially in the early afternoon. The Comitato Pomigliano Sicura advised citizens to keep doors, windows and balconies locked, watch for suspicious activity, and immediately contact the Carabinieri (112) or local police if needed. They also encouraged neighbours to cooperate, share information and alert each other when someone is away.

In Mugnano, a recent burglary captured on video prompted similar safety advice. Authorities and community members recommended securing entry points, improving lighting, using anti‑theft devices, and maintaining neighbour watch networks. Both towns stress calling 112 for any emergencies and avoiding direct confrontation with intruders.
