Emilia‑Romagna allocates participation funds to youth hub, heritage and urban projects
The Emilia‑Romagna regional council approved the 2026 Participation Grant, directing €15,000 to the municipality of Gambettola to reactivate the former slaughterhouse as a youth hub. The grant also provides €45,000 to Fontanelice for the “Sulle tracce di Giuseppe Mengoni” project, aimed at celebrating the 19th‑century architect who designed Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. In Mordano, €35,000 will support a community‑driven programme that combines urban regeneration, water‑network upgrades and climate‑resilience measures.
Regional officials highlighted the importance of the funding: “Risorse fondamentali e preziose per rafforzare il dialogo con i cittadini,” said regional councillor Fabrizio Castellari. The three municipalities will involve local schools, associations and residents in planning and implementation, ensuring the projects reflect local needs while contributing to the broader regional development strategy.
