Italian towns Recco and Castiadas approve budget adjustments for local services

The municipal council of Recco (Italy) approved a budget variation of roughly €300,000, bringing the balanced budget to €28.545 million. The plan uses €102,000 of surplus funds, including €47,000 for waste‑bonus rebates, €55,000 from saved PNRR funds for IT upgrades, and allocates money for police, video surveillance, road maintenance, disabled‑student services, cultural and sports associations, tourism promotion and other local initiatives.

In Castiadas, the council voted unanimously to settle the budget, earmarking €50,000 for two fully electric tourist shuttles, €200,000 for urban decor, €70,000 for the "Vie del Gusto e del Vino" project, and €75,000 for school equipment and playground upgrades. Mayor Eugenio Murgioni highlighted the investments as a boost to mobility, tourism, local agriculture and educational facilities.
