Italian towns roll out free summer workshops for children and families
In the Valle Sabbia region of Italy, a series of free, reservation‑only cultural workshops for children and families will run from early July through September. Organized by the local museum system, activities include orienteering, nature walks, herb‑pressing, cheese‑making outings, and creative printing labs at venues such as Rocca d’Anfo, the Museum of Iron in Odolo, Bagolino’s mountain pasture, Parco La Fratta, and the Forte di Valledrane.
Meanwhile, the Centro per le Famiglie in the same area will host a daily afternoon programme from 6 July to 28 August. Sessions run from 14:30‑18:30 and feature art and creativity labs, outdoor games, short‑film screenings, geographic‑scientific explorations, and inter‑generational discussion groups. Participation requires registration via an online form. The centre remains open all day for broader use, offering play areas, a snack point, and space for study and recreation.
