Italian towns showcase community art, sustainability and tech exhibitions

On July 28, 2024 the central square of Casaluce (province of Caserta) hosted the “Ago, Filo e Riciclo” event, a hands‑on workshop promoting textile recycling. Organized by the municipality together with local groups such as AMI, Circolo Radici and FareAmbiente, the session was led by Daniela and Alessandra Mascia and highlighted the role of citizens in building a culture of sustainability, with mayor Francesco Luongo and assessor Valentina Sorrentino endorsing the initiative.

A few days later, on July 31, the WWF Oasi Lago di Conza held its “Venerdì dell’Oasi” cultural meeting. Artist‑designer Antonio Zarrilli demonstrated how 3D‑printing technology can be combined with traditional craftsmanship to create unique jewelry pieces, offering visitors a live view of design, digital fabrication and manual finishing.

The series of events concluded on August 2, 2024 with the finissage of the “Cloud Dancer” exhibition at Palazzo Verbania in Luino. The showcase, inspired by Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year “Cloud Dancer”, brought together visual artists, poets and musicians to explore the relationship between atmospheric phenomena and artistic creation, ending with a public talk titled “Contemplare il cielo… si fa arte!”.
