Italian transport union Uiltrasporti protests wage dispute at hotel and aggression against traffic staff

The transport union Uiltrasporti Caserta reported that two employees at the Inn Naples Airport hotel in Gricignano d’Aversa were denied their contractual thirteenth‑month salary for 2025. The union declared a state of agitation, demanded a prefectorial meeting with the hotel operator Pinewood Hotels S.p.A., and warned of further legal and inspection actions if the matter is not promptly resolved.

In a separate incident in Naples, Uiltrasporti Campania denounced an assault that occurred during a vehicle inspection for a disabled‑badge. The driver reversed into two local police officers and an ANM traffic auxiliary, injuring the latter. The union called the act an “aggression” against frontline staff, urged stronger protection for workers, and demanded that perpetrators be prosecuted.
