Rai unveils new prime‑time schedule for autumn, featuring Inciocchi and Salvo Sottile

The public broadcaster Rai is set to present a draft of its autumn‑winter programming to the board, with several high‑profile changes. Roberto Inciocchi will anchor a new prime‑time news show on Rai 2 on Wednesdays. Salvo Sottile is expected to replace Milo Infante as host of the midday news magazine “Ore 14” and may move to the evening edition, while Antonino Monteleone is being mentioned as a possible successor on Rai 3’s investigative programme “Far West”. Fiorello will continue his work on Radio 2, and the “Tale e Quale Show” is being moved forward to strengthen Rai 1’s Wednesday lineup. Rumours suggest Barbara D’Urso could join the judging panel of “Ballando con le Stelle”.

In parallel, commercial broadcaster Mediaset is reshuffling its own roster, hiring Milo Infante for a new prime‑time slot on Rete 4 and considering budget cuts of up to 30 %. These moves could affect other shows such as “Fuori dal Coro”, which may be transferred to Italia 1.
