Italian universities announce upcoming cultural and scientific event schedules

Italian universities have announced upcoming schedules of cultural and scientific events. At the University of Salerno, Rector Virgilio D’Antonio presented an agenda that includes a planned honorary doctorate ceremony for Vasco Rossi on October 7. Separately, the University of Gabriele d’Annunzio in Chieti has announced the 2026 European Researchers' Night, scheduled for September 25. Under the theme ‘Back to the Future,’ the event will feature scientific talks on topics ranging from contemporary history to criminology and women's rights. The initiative includes participation from secondary schools and will conclude with musical entertainment.
