Italian volleyball clubs advance pre-season preparations

Italian volleyball teams continue their pre-season preparations ahead of upcoming league campaigns. Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76 secured a 4-0 victory in a joint training session against Granda Volley at PalaFenera. Top performers for Chieri included Guezen, Nemeth, and Nervini, all scoring in double digits. Chieri is scheduled to participate in the “Volley sotto il Mucrone” international quadrangular in Biella on September 26-27.

In Milan, Futura Volley Giovani Busto Arsizio faced Club Italia in a competitive five-set match, ultimately winning 3-2 (21-25, 32-30, 25-23, 25-23, 15-13). Coach Michele Marchiaro used the match to evaluate physical conditioning and service performance. Francesca Cosi stood out with 18 points. Busto Arsizio will hold its official team presentation in Castellanza this Thursday, followed by the “Trofeo Bruna Forte” on Sunday, September 27.
