Italian volleyball clubs prepare for 2026/2027 season

Italian volleyball clubs are preparing for the 2026/2027 season. Delta Volley Porto Viro has announced its upcoming season, highlighting its continued participation in Serie A2 Credem Banca and the launch of the Polesine Volley Academy. This new youth project, formed in collaboration with Volley Ball Polesella, aims to create a comprehensive development pathway for male players from the Under 13 to Under 19 levels.

Meanwhile, Igor Volley Novara is integrating international players back into the squad following various national team commitments. Players such as Ilenia Moro and Carlotta Cambi recently secured silver medals with Italian national teams at the Mediterranean Games and the European Championships, respectively. Other key players, including Britt Herbots, Lina Alsmeier, and Emilia Weske, are also expected to rejoin the team following their participation in international competitions.
