Italian volunteer medical associations inaugurate new emergency vehicles
Volunteer medical associations in Italy are expanding their fleets with new emergency and transport vehicles.
In Castelleone, the Croce Verde inaugurated a new ambulance for emergency services in coordination with Areu Lombardia, alongside a Fiat Doblò equipped with a platform for people with disabilities to handle simple medical transport. The event included local officials, including Mayor Federico Marchesi and regional councilor Matteo Piloni.
Similarly, the Misericordia di Montecalvoli has added a new ambulance and a dedicated vehicle for transporting people with disabilities to its equipment. The organization scheduled an inauguration ceremony featuring a blessing of the vehicles, a community parade through the streets of the municipality, and a presentation of the new services available to the community.
