Italian websites publish extensive GDPR privacy notices

Two Italian online platforms have posted detailed privacy notices that outline their compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). One notice, issued by DM Solutions srls, the operator of the Amiatanews site, describes the types of personal data collected, the purposes of processing, and the rights of users, while stating that no Data Protection Officer has been appointed because the activities do not involve large‑scale systematic monitoring.

The second notice, released by Confesercenti Nazionale, informs users that personal data are processed for site navigation and response to inquiries, lists the legal basis for processing, and provides contact details for exercising data‑subject rights. Both notices emphasize limited data retention periods and the technical measures in place to protect user information.
