Italian wine culture highlighted by festivals and awards

Italy's viticulture sector is highlighted through regional celebrations and prestigious awards. In Montevarchi, the ‘Varchi in Vigna 2024’ event transforms the city center into an urban vineyard. From October 9 to 11, Piazza Varchi will host tastings, local food vendors, and masterclasses led by AIS sommeliers to showcase Valdarno wines.

In the Campania region, the Torre del Pagus winery from Paupisi has been awarded the ‘Gold Award’ at the Merano Wine Festival (WineHunter 2026-2027). This recognition honors the quality of the winery's production and marks a significant achievement for the Rapuano family in the Sannio wine-growing area.
