Italian wine festivals and masterclasses announced

Various Italian wine events and masterclasses are being organized to promote regional viticulture. In Rome, the Gambero Rosso Academy is hosting a masterclass titled ‘Mar Sale: il Mediterraneo nel bicchiere visto dallo Stagnone’. The event focuses on the wines of Feudo Stagnone from Sicily, featuring a tasting of eight different labels ranging from sparkling wines to reds. The session includes culinary pairings designed by resident chef Marco Brioschi to highlight the characteristics of the Sicilian territory.

Additionally, the third edition of the Barbera d’Asti Wine Festival has been announced by the Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato. The festival aims to promote the Monferrato territory through tastings and meetings for journalists, industry professionals, and enthusiasts. The program is set to begin on October 18 in Milan at the Westin Palace Hotel, featuring masterclasses conducted in collaboration with AIS Lombardia.
