Italian wine festivals scheduled for late 2026

Two regional wine festivals are scheduled to take place in Italy in October and November 2026, celebrating local viticulture and heritage.

In Baratili San Pietro, the Baratili Wine Fest will focus on Vernaccia di Oristano on October 10. The event aims to highlight the historical importance of the grape, which has been documented in the area since the 11th century. The program includes a conference at the former Madau winery, tastings, and community activities designed to connect local producers with visitors.

In Tirano, the twelfth edition of the Eroico Rosso – Sforzato Wine Festival will be held from October 31 to November 1. Dedicated to the Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG, the festival features masterclasses, tastings, and meetings with producers. The event emphasizes the unique mountain viticulture and terraced landscapes of the Valtellina region, which are recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
