In Norway, the Norwegian Wine Club Association has recommended a high-quality bag-in-box option from the Tuscan producer Selvapiana. The Selvapiana Il Torraccino Toscana Rosso, sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Rufina, is noted for its Sangiovese characteristics such as sour-sweet cherry, herbs, and leather. The association advises consumers to check the tapping date when purchasing boxed wine to avoid oxidation, noting that opened boxes should be consumed within a month.
