Italian woman faces 300+ reports for restaurant and hotel fraud

A 57-year-old Italian woman is facing over 300 reports of fraudulent insolvency across Italy, primarily in the northeastern regions. Business owners in areas such as Brixen and Sterzing have begun displaying her photograph in their establishments to warn colleagues of her activities.

Her methods reportedly include using false identities, presenting invalid credit cards, and making fictitious phone calls to avoid payment. Recent incidents in South Tyrol involved the woman refusing to pay a 60-euro restaurant bill while intoxicated and using stolen personal data to book a hotel stay before failing to settle the bill.

In addition to restaurant thefts, she has been linked to incidents in Trento, where she allegedly consumed food and beverages exceeding 100 euros without payment.
