Italian Youth Athletes Win National Titles in Dance and Racewalking

Gianmarco Mirabelli, a 19‑year‑old from Montalto Uffugo, captured the Under‑21 Italian Latin dance championship at the national finals in Rimini. His victory in the combined event earned him promotion to the elite Class A level. Mirabelli trains with the Dirty Dancing Academy in Luzzi under coaches Romeo and Ilaria Renne, and his success has been celebrated by his hometown and the local dance community.

Ivan Ragozzino, 21, from Manoppello, secured the Under‑23 Italian 10,000‑metre race‑walking title at the championships in Molfetta, finishing in 40:33.49. The athlete, a member of Thetys Chieti, is also pursuing a degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies at the University of Chieti‑Pescara. Local officials praised his dedication and highlighted the achievement as a source of pride for the town.
