Italian youth festivals in Pescara and Cagliari set for August 2024‑2026

Pescara will host the second edition of the Festival Giovane “Le Bardasce” from 28 July to 1 August 2026. Organized by ARCI Pescara with ARCI Valdarno, ARCI Genova and ARCI Cinema Vekki, and funded by the UN‑DER Community programme, the five‑day residential event brings together adolescents from across Italy to explore the theme “Aliens among us – journeys, community, transformations” through workshops, performances and community‑building activities.

Meanwhile, Cagliari will hold the 14th international summer camp “Fai la differenza” from 2 to 9 August. The camp, run by the Caritas diocesana of Cagliari, welcomes 100‑plus young people aged 16‑30 from Italy and countries such as Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Lebanon and the Dominican Republic. Participants engage in volunteering, spiritual reflection, training sessions and cultural exchanges aimed at fostering fraternity and dialogue in the Mediterranean region.
