Musical events and artistic residencies held across Italy

Italy is hosting several high-profile musical events and residencies featuring young talent and classical masters.

In Pordenone, the Teatro Verdi is hosting the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester (GMJO) for a summer residency. The ensemble, comprising 112 musicians from 22 countries, will be led by new assistant director Henry Kennedy.
