Italian youth sports receive free rugby program and €50 vouchers
The ISWEB Avezzano Rugby club in Avezzano, Abruzzo, announced that children born between 2017 and 2022 can register for the upcoming season without paying any annual fee, emphasizing that “sport must be a right accessible to all.”
The Sicilian regional government published a list of 1,853 sports associations that will receive monthly €50 vouchers to cover registration costs for girls and boys aged 6‑16 from families whose ISEE is below €12,000. The vouchers can be used for courses and activities between 1 September 2026 and 30 April 2027, with a total allocation of roughly €6 million for the 2026‑2027 fiscal year. Regional assessor Elvira Amata said the initiative “invests in the future of our community, offering young people the chance to grow healthy, disciplined and united.”
