Italian Youth Street Art Programs Kick Off in Emilia‑Romagna and Veneto

The Cooperativa Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII launched the fifth edition of the Summer Seekers 2026 project in the towns of San Mauro Pascoli and Savignano sul Rubicone, Emilia‑Romagna. The free summer programme offers workshops in street art, parkour, percussion, jewellery making, football and other activities for youths aged 12 and over, aiming to promote well‑being, social inclusion and community participation.

In the Veneto region, the Unione Montana Alto Astico, together with Radica Onlus, organised a three‑session graffiti laboratory in Pedemonte for teenagers aged 11‑16. Held on three Saturdays in late June and early July, the free workshops led by artist Davide Tosin aim to create a lasting community mural and provide a creative space for young people in the mountainous area.

Both initiatives are funded by local authorities and regional programmes, emphasizing the role of arts and sport in engaging young people outside traditional summer centres.
