Italian YouTuber explores high-risk neighborhoods in Asunción

Federico Zompicchiatti, an Italian YouTuber known as Zazza el italiano, recently released a video documenting his visit to several high-risk areas in Asunción, Paraguay. His reports typically focus on marginalized zones and conflict-prone neighborhoods that are often avoided by the general public.

One of the primary locations visited was the Añaretã’i neighborhood, situated within the Mercado 4 district. Local residents and drivers described the area as a difficult environment, with some characterizing it as a place occupied by addicts. The neighborhood is noted for its complex layout of narrow alleys, which residents say aids criminals in evading police during cell phone robberies.

During the visit, Zompicchiatti was escorted by a police officer. The footage captured interactions with local residents, including children who advised the YouTuber to remain under police protection, and a neighbor who engaged with him while singing.
