Italy adds dozens of lesser‑known channels to its digital terrestrial TV lineup

Italy’s digital terrestrial television service carries a large number of channels beyond the well‑known Rai and Mediaset offerings. The multiplexes include a wide variety of LCN numbers such as Arte, Discovery Turbo, SportItalia HD, Deejay TV HD, Italia Channel, Gold TV Italia, LA 4 Italia, and many regional and thematic stations that are relatively unknown to most viewers.

In the latest lineup change, the channel previously known as CANALE 232, which had been a repeat of CANALE 137, was removed from the national LCN 232 on MUX PERSIDERA 1. Its slot was shortly filled by MATCH MUSIC, an HbbTV channel on MUX PERSIDERA 3, effective 1 June 2026. The updated multiplexes now reflect this replacement and the current set of available channels.
