Emilia‑Romagna rolls out book‑grant and scholarship scheme for 2026‑27 school year

The regional government of Emilia‑Romagna confirmed the continuation of financial support for students for the 2026‑27 academic year. Two programmes are offered: a textbook‑grant and merit‑based scholarships. Applications are accepted online through the Ergo Scuola portal from 4 September to 23 October. Eligibility is determined by household income, with two ISEE brackets – up to €10 632.94 and between €10 632.95 and €15 748.78 – qualifying for the benefits. The measures aim to reduce school‑dropout risk, promote equal treatment across the region and adjacent provinces, and ensure that economic conditions do not impede access to education. Regional education and welfare councillor Isabella Conti highlighted the programme as an investment in the future of Emilia‑Romagna’s students.
