Italy advances women's health through personalized care and new screening initiatives

Medical professionals and regional authorities in Italy are advancing initiatives focused on personalized women's healthcare. At a congress held in Villa Mondragone, specialists discussed the evolution of gynecology and obstetrics, emphasizing the integration of artificial intelligence, prenatal diagnostics, and minimally invasive surgery to address challenges such as declining birth rates and an aging population.

In the Basilicata region, a new pioneering screening campaign titled ‘Ovarian Reserve Screening – The Future is Today’ has been launched in Potenza. In collaboration with the San Carlo Hospital, the program offers women aged 25 to 30 the opportunity to undergo anti-Müllerian hormone blood tests. This initiative aims to provide reproductive awareness and scientific knowledge regarding biological fertility to assist women in making informed decisions about future motherhood.
