Italy and San Marino discuss cross-border pensions and traffic fines

The Italy-San Marino Joint Commission has reconvened to address several bilateral issues, following the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union. Key topics on the agenda include the convention against double taxation and the pension treatment for cross-border workers.

In addition to fiscal matters, the delegations discussed administrative cooperation regarding driver's licenses, point-based systems, and the notification of traffic fines. Italian Deputy Minister Edmondo Cirielli and San Marino Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari met to seek shared solutions, with technical tables scheduled for further in-depth analysis.
