Italy announces 10-athlete squad for World Road Running Championships

The Italian Athletics Federation has announced the 10-athlete roster for the World Road Running Championships, scheduled to take place in Copenhagen on September 19 and 20. The squad consists of six men and four women competing in the half marathon, 5km, and mile events.

Key participants include Yeman Crippa and Badr Jaafari for the men's half marathon, while Pietro Arese will compete in the mile. The women's roster features Sofiia Yaremchuk and Elvanie Nimbona in the half marathon, Micol Majori and Konjoneh Maggi in the 5km, and Ludovica Cavalli in the mile. Notably, Nadia Battocletti, who performed strongly in the previous edition, will not be part of this year's lineup.
