Italy announces major 2027 cultural and sporting events

Organizers have unveiled the route for the 2027 centenary edition of the Mille Miglia, scheduled to take place from May 24 to May 29, 2027. The historical reenactment, involving approximately 300 international crews, will traverse several Italian regions, including Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, Marche, Veneto, and Lombardy. Key cities on the route include Brescia, Parma, Florence, and Rome. Registration for eligible automobiles opens on October 9.

Separately, the fourth edition of the Cervia Run is set for March 18 to 21, 2027. This edition will introduce the ‘Maratona del Sale’, a full 42.195-kilometer marathon through salt pans, pine forests, and the seafront. The event will also feature a ‘Night Run’ and sensory paths for families, while continuing its charitable partnership with Ageop to support children with oncological diseases.
