Italy announces selection for 82 Civil Peace Corps volunteers

The Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service has issued a call for applications to select 82 volunteer operators for the Civil Peace Corps (CCP) projects. These initiatives, scheduled to take place between 2027 and 2028, aim to contribute to peacebuilding, human rights, and social welfare in conflict-prone or environmentally at-risk areas.

This selection marks the first year of a new three-year cycle following an initial experimental phase. Participating organizations, such as CIPSI and Caritas Italiana, will manage various international projects. Specific locations for these 12-month assignments include Guatemala, Georgia, Jordan, Cyprus, Djibouti, and Brazil.

Eligible candidates must be residents of Italy, aged between 18 and 29, and meet specific legal requirements regarding criminal records. Applications must be submitted through the DOL platform by December 4, 2026, at 14:00.
